Answering those Burning questions

My Coral Arrived DOA what do I do?

If a coral in your order arrived DOA please take pictures within 2 hours of the item in the Bag and out of the bag as well. TRSC cannot accept “blue” pictures that does not accurately display the health of the specimen. Please change your lighting to WHITE or use a pair of sunglasses to filter out the blue to take your photos. 

TRSC will honor DOA corals by issuing credit in the form of a coupon. TRSC can also at their discretion replace the coral free of charge in a subsequent order in leiu of the coral credit. Please contact us for further solutions.

What Lighting does TRSC Use?

Corals are photographed under the white 12K Spectrum of Noopsyche K7II LED’s. Some corals are photographed under a bluer spectrum with the assistance of UV filters to display the coloration.

What parameters does TRSC Run

We typically shoot for standard reef parameters of:

ALK – 7.5-8.5
MAG – 1200 – 1400
CAL – 400 – 450
Nitrate – 15 PPM
Phosphate – 0.03 PPM

What if I need to modify my order?

You can contact the team at TRSC Aquatics by using the contact form or alerting us through chat. Our agents are available during normal business hours and even after hours if needed.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

Contact the team to make the change at least 24 hours before your order ships.

Can I get same day delivery?

Same day delivery is available after 5PM to most areas within 15 miles of area code 28216. TRSC ships all packages Overnight Priority.

What shipping options are there?

TRSC Aquatics ships using UPS or FedEx Priority Overnight by 10:30 AM. Due to COVID-19 no commercial shipper is honoring the 10:30 AM guarantee. Instead they are guaranteeing delivery by end of day which may be as late as 8PM. 

For large cities FedEX is usually the best choice barring any hub delays. For Rural areas UPS is the preferred method of shipping.  UPS can also be used for large cities and is the preferred method of shipping Instate.

My Shipping Option was Changed! What to DO?

COVID-19 has created incredible amounts of shipping abnormalities including persistent delays impacting one or the other carrier. When shipping your corals TRSC will evaluate which shipping carrier has a recorded best performance to your area.

 TRSC will always attempt to contact the customer before a shipping change is made.  Please be available and attentive to phone calls from us the day before your delivery. 

Can I add items to my order?

You can add or remove items from your order by contact thing the Team. If you would like to order additional items your are free to do so. Make sure to choose Order Addon when ordering to ensure you don’t pay shipping twice. The orders will be joined and shipped together.

What Payment Options are Accepted

TRSC utilizes Paypal and Quadpay for online payment processing. We can also process Phone orders using Square. 

TRSC can accept Cash, or Credit/Debit cards in person at our retail location.

Can I return my coral or Dry Goods?

TRSC does not accept returns on any coral purchases. If an issue occurs with your order please contact the team for possible solutions.

Returns of Dry Goods are dependent on the item and usage scenario. In most cases returns on equipment are accepted with a stocking fee. 

Please contact us if you need to return an item. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
