🛡️ Alive Arrival Guarantee – Livestock Policy
We stand behind the health and quality of our livestock—including coral, fish, and invertebrates—and guarantee they will arrive alive and as described.
📦 In Case of DOA (Dead on Arrival):
To qualify for DOA coverage, please follow these steps:
- Submit a DOA request within 2 hours of delivery (based on UPS/FedEx posted delivery time).
- Include clear photos of the deceased livestock both inside the sealed shipping bag and outside the bag.
- The recipient must be present to receive the delivery. Failure to do so voids all DOA coverage—no exceptions.
- Requests submitted after the 2-hour window may be declined at TRSC Aquatics’ discretion.
📸 Important Notes:
- No credit will be issued without proper photo documentation.
- Verified DOAs will be credited in the form of a replacement coral or store credit equal to the original coral’s value.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable and not covered under DOA claims.
- If the exact coral is unavailable, a credit will be issued instead.
- We are not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses provided by the buyer.
- TRSC cannot be held liable for UPS/FedEx delays due to weather or mechanical issues. While rare, if such delays occur, we’ll work with you to make it right.

Shipping Policy
All live items are shipped by UPS or FedEx through Priority Overnight Service, Monday- Thursday and usually arrive by 10:30am EST. Certain remote areas are delivered later in the day. We use specific packing means necessary to ensure the safe arrival of your live coral. Standard shipping for North and South Carolina are $19.99 for Overnight Delivery. All other areas are $29.99 for Overnight Delivery. We charge a fee of $9.99 for orders below $100.
TRSC tries to avoid shipping on Friday. This is due to the immense amount of packages shipped for the weekend and the unreliability of most postal institutions to adhere to shipping schedules. This coupled with the fact that some mail institutions do not deliver Saturday/Sunday and if a delivery was “missed”, Monday would be the earliest delivery date for some. If you HAVE To have something shipped Friday, then please let us know in your order and we will try to ship Friday at the latest for Saturday delivery. Saturday Delivery is an additional charge that we cannot control. We cannot guarantee that the delivery will be by 10:30 AM but we do pack our corals to survive temperatures of 40-60 degrees for up to 48 hours.
🪸 Livestock Purchase Policy – WYSIWYG & Final Sale
Most of our livestock items are individually photographed and listed as WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). This means the exact coral or specimen you see is the one you’ll receive. Because of this, all livestock purchases are considered final.*
Once an item is sold, our website automatically removes it from inventory to prevent duplicate purchases. If you request to cancel an order, we offer two options:
- 💳 100% store credit, valid for 12 months
- 🎁 Refund minus a 20% restocking fee, issued as a gift card

🔄 Return Policy – Dry Goods & Equipment
At TRSC Aquatics, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We gladly accept returns of new, unopened products in their original packaging within 14 days of the original purchase date for a full refund, minus applicable shipping and restocking fees.
📧 How to Request a Return:
All returns must be pre-approved via email. Please contact us at customerservice@trscaquatics.com to initiate your request.
💳 Refund Options Based on Timing:
- Within 14 Days: You may choose between a refund to your original payment method or store credit.
- After 14 Days: Refunds will be issued as store credit only, valid for both in-store and online purchases.
📦 Additional Notes – Supplies Shipments & Returns
Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth return process for dry goods and equipment:
- 📦 Items must be unused and unopened to qualify for return.
- 🚚 Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- 💸 Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.
- 🎁 Gift cards and store credit are non-refundable.
- 📉 If we provide a return label, shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.
- 🏷️ Retain all original packaging and tags until you’re fully satisfied with your purchase.
- 📬 Inspect all packages immediately upon arrival for damage.
- 📦 You may use your own shipping method to return items.
🚫 Special Order & Drop Ship Items:
These items cannot be canceled once the order is placed.
🐠 Aquarium Deliveries:
All aquariums must be inspected upon delivery. Any damage must be reported within 24 hours. Claims submitted after this window cannot be accepted.
🚫 Items Not Eligible for Return
To maintain product integrity and safety, we are unable to accept returns on the following:
- 🐠 Aquariums, food, sand, salt, rock, and batteries
Note: Some exclusions may apply. - 🧪 Liquids with expiration dates beyond 45 days from the purchase date
- 💧 Items exposed to water or showing signs of use
- 📦 Products with damaged or altered packaging, or missing components such as:
- Warranty cards
- Instruction manuals
- Accessories
- Original packing materials
- 📦 Special Order, Drop Ship, and Open Box items
- 🔥 Clearance, blowout, or liquidation items
All sales on these items are final and non-returnable
🛠️ Manufacturer Defects & Warranty Claims
TRSC Aquatics does not assume responsibility for manufacturer defects.
For warranty support or product replacement, please contact the manufacturer directly to ensure proper resolution.
📦 Shipping Damage Policy
If your item arrives damaged, we’ve got you covered — we’ll replace it at no cost to you.
🕵️♂️ Inspection & Reporting
Please inspect all packages immediately upon arrival.
If damage is found, contact us within 3 business days of delivery.
We’ll replace the item free of charge, including shipping costs for the replacement.
📸 Pre-Approval Process
Email clear photos of the damaged item to customerservice@trscaquatics.com for return pre-approval.
🔁 Return & Replacement
- Once approved, our team will send you a prepaid return label.
- After we receive the damaged item, your replacement will be shipped immediately.
- Aquariums and Drop Shipped items must be handled directly through the manufacturer’s support team.
